Today I will be talking to you about love. The different types there can be and how it has lost some of its real meaning.
Red is the color of love. Red is what flows through our veins, but what is love? Our views on love have changed greatly over time but is it still of as much value now as it was then?
Love is seen mostly to be between a man & women, but there’s also love between friends, family, pets. Love to me is an undying feeling for someone, an unconditional uncontrollable rush of caring in which you couldn’t live without them. Love is pure and fills people with joy, happiness but it can also cause pain & sorrow when those we love hurt us. True love never fades.
Sex is seen as a act of love when in a dating relationship. People see it as one of the last stages to show your affection towards a lover, but as sex has become a bigger part of advertising & media I fear it has lost some of its meaning. It should be seen as a special moment not to forget not only the first time but every time should be like this.
These days teenagers are doing it as young as 10, 11, 12, 13 not even in there teens, where has the innocence gone. 20 years ago children these ages only had love for their parents, family, pets, and their favorite stuffed animal. I think we need to take a step back and have a look at the real meaning of love. Love isn’t all sexual that is only a small factor when you look at the big picture.
Marriage is another act of love, or it used to be with divorce on the rise separation, re-marriage is becoming more common. Bigger houses smaller families, more possessions less communication. Is this really how we want to live? They say in the vows till death do we part but is that really the case. When did the love fade? How did it fade? Is it gone or just hidden under the new stress of life?
The strongest love is that for a child, whether it’s a brother, sister or a parent, grandparent. This is a family love and can never be broken, no matter how much we fight. I see this love as the truest of all. No matter what has or will happen between that love it will always be there. Evan if you don’t want it to be if it just hurts to much it won’t go away. a broken heart by someone that close will never be truly mended and that is the sad thing.
In closing love is precious, we should cherish those that we love and never let them go. Love is ever lasting but I feel we need more in this world.
